Jonathan Pilafas

I'm an Analyst who transforms raw information into business insights and scalable solutions. At Miller Cooper, I work with our Data & Analytics Advisory Services practice to help organizations maximize modern BI tools by building data connections, streamlining data pipelines, and delivering strategic dashboards with Domo, Power BI, and SQL.

My core strengths include SQL-based data modeling, dashboard development, and data validation, combined with hands-on experience in custom connector development, GitHub automation, and API integrations. I've built and maintained connectors written in JavaScript across multiple platforms such as ServiceTitan, Slack, UKG, PrismHR, and WelcomeHome, and authored documentation that supports long-term scalability for both technical teams and business users. I'm also actively expanding into enterprise data warehousing with Snowflake and Azure, and strengthening my ability to support ETL, automation, and data engineering strategies.

My mission is to make complex data accessible, trusted, and actionable. Whether that is accomplished through backend workflow automation or data visualization and storytelling in BI, I thrive at bridging the gap between data and decision-making with clarity, accuracy, and impact.

As an Analyst with the Data & Analytics Advisory Services practice at Miller, Cooper & Co., Ltd., I worked alongside a team of experts to help clients make data-driven decisions by analyzing and presenting their data in real-time dashboards and reports.

• Build custom API connectors and automate workflows as a certified Domo partner to support cross-platform integration and analytics enablement.

I built the Church Metrics Connector for Domo to help churches track key data like attendance, giving, and salvations in real time. By pulling from Church Metrics API endpoints, the connector enables leaders to combine engagement data across campuses and visualize it through custom dashboards for better, faster decisions.

Custom Date & Timestamp Formatting in Analyzer

I had the privilege of being the first Domo community member to contribute to the official Domo Knowledge Base with my article, “Custom Date & Timestamp Formatting in Analyzer.” This guide helps users format date and timestamp fields directly in Domo Analyzer to improve clarity and consistency in dashboards. It’s been an honor to give back to the Domo community and contribute to a platform I use every day.

Hoops, KenPom, Data, and Madness: The Ultimate NCAA Dashboard

I was honored to have my March Madness Data Analysis Dashboard featured on the official Domo on Data blog! Built using KenPom data, this dashboard lets users explore NCAA tournament insights with visualizations on key performance metrics like offensive vs. defensive efficiency, turnover percentage, and more. It even includes a “Championship DNA” section to highlight the strongest contenders. I'm grateful to have my work recognized and to help others experience March Madness through the lens of data.

NFL Playoff Bracket

Custom-coded interactive bracket tool replicating the logic of the current NFL playoff structure. Built using vanilla HTML, CSS, and jQuery, with dynamic rendering of matchups and team progression across Wildcard, Divisional, Conference, and Super Bowl rounds.
